Modern living room with stone fireplace, TV, and open kitchen with island and pendant lights. "Wing House" by Arcologic Design, winner of the "Building Design of the Year" at the 2022 Design Matters National Building Design Awards.

The Wing House is designed to reflect its natural surroundings through the use of materials, views and architectural forms.

Named for its two distinct wings and a roofline that rises gracefully like a bird in flight, the home is situated on a sloping, semi-rural site near Margaret River. The home features a warm palette of natural materials, including timber, stone and rock boulders, that enhances its connection to the landscape beyond.

Modern patio area with stone exterior, wooden pergola, and outdoor sectional sofa set.

All habitable rooms face north to capture views and winter sun, with the living room featuring raking ceilings and floor to ceiling glass.

A two -sided slow combustion fireplace in a feature stone wall provides the focal point to the living room and is ideal for gathering around with a glass of red on those cold winter evenings down south.
