This project takes rural living to a whole new level. A design that reflects its rural setting, the use of natural materials, opening to the aspect and use of dividing partitions to create privacy. A great technical outcome. Looking from above, inside or outside this design gives pleasure.

The Wing House is designed to reflect its natural surroundings through the use of materials, views and architectural forms.
Named for its two distinct wings and a roofline that rises gracefully like a bird in flight, the home is situated on a sloping, semi-rural site near Margaret River. The home features a warm palette of natural materials, including timber, stone and rock boulders, that enhances its connection to the landscape beyond.

All habitable rooms face north to capture views and winter sun, with the living room featuring raking ceilings and floor to ceiling glass.
A two -sided slow combustion fireplace in a feature stone wall provides the focal point to the living room and is ideal for gathering around with a glass of red on those cold winter evenings down south.
