A unique marriage of old and new, this modern addition to a period cottage allows both the historic and contemporary to have their own identity and place in the sun.

The new solar passive 'pavilion' is set to the rear of the property to retain the heritage street appeal of the original which has been painstakingly restored to bring back its past glory.
A breezeway link past a protected Japanese inspired courtyard brings one to the open plan pavilion which is in complete contrast to the original home. Bright and airy, with high ceilings and extensive glazing, the pavilion offers breathtaking views over the valley and town below. The contrast is further highlighted by the grey Scyon cladding of the new which plays against the white weatherboards of the cottage.
